What is MoSAIC?
​A maturity-and-compliance assessment of your modern slavery statement, scored through four lenses: compliance with the Modern Slavery Act, best practice, human-rights due diligence and actual impact on workers.

Who is it for?
Reporting entities under the Modern Slavery Act — general counsel, company secretaries, sustainability and risk leaders, and the boards to whom they report — who want to know not only that their statement is compliant, but whether their modern slavery programme is effective.

What do I receive?
There are currently two options: a Compliance Check that offers a board-readiness verdict — whether your statement is safe to approve and lodge. And a fuller Assessment that gives a comprehensive four-lens perspective on where you rank against your peers, where you're strong, where you fall short and a practical, accessible roadmap of what to do next.

Is my information confidential?
Yes. Assessments are prepared under engagement and shared only with you. The assessment is based on your published statement; for evidence-based engagements, it will also include material you choose to provide us such as policies and responses to questions.

Is my assessment privileged?
It could be; because MoSAIC is delivered by a registered legal practice as confidential legal advice, the assessment is intended to be capable of attracting legal professional privilege. Privilege is not automatic. It can also be lost through careless handling. We can advise you on how to manage the report to best preserve any privilege it may attract. This is something a non-lawyer consultancy cannot offer.

How do you use AI?
MoSAIC uses AI-assisted analysis tools to support the work, but these only assist. Every score, finding and recommendation is reviewed and signed off by a (human) legal practitioner. Your information is never submitted to any tool that uses it to train a generative AI model.

What does it cost?
A fixed fee, scoped to the assessment that you select, so there's no open-ended bill. If you get in touch, we will send a proposal.
