Governance
I am an experienced corporate
governance lawyer.
I am a Councillor of Monash University
and a member of its Audit & Risk and ESG & Estates Committees.

I bring direct experience advising, chairing &
sitting on Boards, intimate knowledge of
the law & best practice, and years of
preparing governing documents, charters & policies. I work with Boards to optimise
governance, train directors and
help resolve director conflicts.

I can advise on the basics to structure
your enterprise, including incorporation
and charity registrations, essential
documents and the right policies for good governance.
Impact & purpose
Purpose is not merely spoken, purpose must be lived.
I have worked with B Corporations for years. B Corporations are among
the best known impactful enterprise
models and they live impact and purpose.
I have advised B Lab ANZ on advocating
for company law reform and on the
legal implications of B Corporations
in Australia.

I advise on impact investing transactions to
align investment with impact.

To embed impact in your enterprise,
I can advise on all legal aspects &
stakeholder documentation. We can put
impact at the heart & soul of
your enterprise and be part of the
movement to build human-centred,
Earth-friendly, better enterprises.
Modern slavery
Australia brought in the Modern Slavery
Act in 2019 - a step towards making
business more accountable for human
rights abuses through addressing
the scourge of slavery entrenched
in global supply chains.

I have been helping clients in this space
since before the laws took effect.

I have advised clients in all sectors,
government & private, profit &
not-for-profit. I know what the
emerging market practice
looks like.

I can devise your modern slavery
compliance program. I advise on risk assessments, training, supplier terms,
supply chain governance, modern slavery statements, remediation
frameworks and managing
modern slavery incidents.
I have co-developed an automated modern slavery toolkit consisting of training and questionnaires, with Safetrac Pty Ltd - Australia's best online compliance solutions provider.
The tools leverage my direct experience advising scores of reporting entities, with Safetrac's 20+ years of technical and design expertise in online compliance. The tools will streamline your compliance and free up resources so your business can focus on the critical human rights issues impacting you.^
^ I benefit from sales of this product under a profit sharing agreement with Safetrac Pty Ltd.
